Bookia is a modern platform that lets authors write, edit, and sell books with AI support. After creating your account, you can start book projects, write with the help of our AI assistant, and publish when you're done.
Click the "Create Free Account" button on the homepage. Enter your email, password, and name. After email verification, your account will be active and you can start writing immediately.
After logging into the dashboard, click "New Book." Choose your book's title, genre, and language. The AI assistant can create an outline or you can start with a blank page.
In the dashboard, you can see all your book projects, sales statistics, and AI usage. Access your books, AI assistant, publishing center, and settings from the left menu.
Yes! Bookia is responsive on all devices. You can write, edit, and publish from your phone or tablet. Our iOS and Android apps are coming soon.
Our AI assistant creates story outlines, develops characters, writes dialogue, runs grammar checks, gives style suggestions, proposes continuations, and translates into different languages. It supports you at every stage of the writing process.
Currently Turkish, English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian are supported. The AI assistant can translate between these languages and provide grammar checks in each. More languages are coming soon.
Basic AI features (grammar checks, simple suggestions) are available with limited use for free users. Advanced features (story generation, character development, translation) are unlimited with premium plans.
Of course! AI only makes suggestions; the final decision is always yours. You can accept, change, or completely reject suggestions. AI supports your creativity and does not limit it.
No. Content produced by AI belongs to you and the copyright is yours. AI is just a tool; you are the owner of the creative process. As a platform, we protect your copyrights.
After setting your book to "Completed" status in the editor, go to the Publish page from the left menu. Click Publish for the relevant book. Set a price and more. Your book will be listed for sale in the Marketplace.
Publishing is completely free. A 15% platform commission is only taken when a sale occurs. This commission covers payment processing, hosting, security, and platform development costs.
You set your book's price. The platform suggests average prices and the pricing of similar books. The minimum price is ₺5 and the maximum is ₺500. You can also list your book for free on the Marketplace and change the price anytime.
You can see detailed statistics in the "Sales" section of the dashboard. Access daily/monthly sales numbers, revenue analysis, reader demographics, and book performance data.
Sales revenue is deposited to your account monthly. The minimum payout amount is ₺50. Payments are sent to your bank account. You decide your tax status.
Yes, all your data is protected with SSL encryption and stored on GDPR-compliant servers in Europe. Regular security tests are performed and no data is shared with third parties. Your passwords are stored hashed.
In Settings > Security, enter your current password and set a new one. We recommend using a strong password and updating it regularly.
You can use the "Delete Account" option in Settings > Account. This action is irreversible and all your data will be permanently deleted. We recommend downloading your books before deleting.
No, according to our terms of use, only one account can be created per person. However, you can create unlimited book projects within one account. We offer special solutions for corporate accounts.
In Settings > Notifications, choose when you want to receive emails. You can separately configure sales notifications, update announcements, and marketing emails.
First, update your browser and clear the cache. Use the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. If the issue persists, try a different browser or contact our support team.
The editor autosaves, but check your internet connection. JavaScript must be enabled in your browser. If the issue continues, copy your text and refresh the page.
We support Chrome (v90+), Firefox (v88+), Safari (v14+), and Edge (v90+). Internet Explorer is not supported. For the best experience, we recommend the latest Chrome.
For cover images, the maximum size is 5MB and supported formats are JPG, PNG, and WebP. Reduce the file size or change the format. If the issue persists, try a different file.
It may be a temporary server issue. Refresh the page and wait 5 minutes. If it continues, contact our support team with the error message and what you were doing.
Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and Apple Pay are accepted. All payments are secured with SSL encryption. Monthly and yearly subscription options are available.
Unlimited AI usage, advanced editor features, priority support, more storage, advanced analytics, and premium themes.
You can cancel anytime from Settings > Subscription. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. After canceling, you can still use premium features until the period ends.
A no-questions-asked refund is available within the first 14 days. Afterwards, refunds are evaluated for technical issues or inability to use the service. Refund requests are processed within 5-7 business days.
